Thank you for your interest in the Dana-Farber Marathon Challenge (DFMC) team.

Boston Marathon® registrants who would like to learn more about raising funds for Dana-Farber Cancer Institute are invited to contact the DFMC office. Your support speeds our lifesaving journey to the ultimate finish line: A world without cancer.

The DFMC team in the Boston Marathon includes both DFMC's "invitational" roster of runner-fundraisers, who are not time-qualified, and others with their own official Boston Marathon race entry. Virtually every teammate has been affected in some way by cancer. Running the Boston Marathon as a DFMC team member will be a meaningful experience to remember forever!

The Marathon Challenge directs 100 percent of funds raised to the Claudia Adams Barr Program in Innovative Basic Cancer Research, which enables researchers at the leading edge of scientific sleuth work to achieve better cure rates and to enhance patients' quality of life. DFMC took its first steps in 1990 as one of the inaugural organizations in the Boston Marathon Official Charity Program.
