I am running the Boston Marathon with the Dana-Farber Marathon Challenge team, and this is the webpage through which you can support my fundraising efforts.

Every dollar my teammates and I raise supports the Claudia Adams Barr Program in Innovative Basic Cancer Research, which funds the brightest, most creative scientists making basic research discoveries. Here are brief descriptions of 16 selected projects supported by the Barr Program, illustrating some of the program's most significant impacts to date.

Each year since 2009 I have been a member of the DFMC team to honor the memories of those we love and lost, those we love who survived, and to celebrate being cancer free for now 13 years (!).

If you’ll be in Boston April 16, I hope you’ll watch the marathon and cheer us on. My teammates and I each run hundreds of miles through the winter, training with thousands of special people in mind and hope in our hearts. On race day, thoughts of those special people carry us when the going gets tough and onward to the finish line. We run as a gift of love and faith, and we run in hope.
