10 marathons. 2010. $10,000.

Karma, don't you think?

I'm back -- and ready to take on training and fundraising for the 2010 Boston Marathon, my 5th as a member of the Dana-Farber team. To mark my 10th overall marathon, I've challenged myself to raise $10,000 to support the amazing and brilliant research being done at Dana-Farber. I know I can do it (and hopefully I can run the marathon WITHOUT landing in the ER again this year!) but I need your help. Please reach into your hearts and pockets to help end cancer, and all of the terrible pain it brings to so many.

I'll be spending the next few months training through the Boston winter, pushing up the hills of Newton and dedicating my energy to running the best race I can. I hope you can help me get to my finish line of a $10,000 gift to the Claudia Adams Barr Program at Innovative Basic Cancer Research. As always, I dedicate my running to my friend Danny Navisky, my late grandfather Murray Forman and everyone else battling cancer.
