The Marathon is Over, but We Still Need Research Help

One hundred percent of every dollar raised by the DFMC team supports the Claudia Adams Barr Program in Innovative Basic Cancer Research at Dana-Farber Cancer Institute. Check out this short video to see how funds raised through DFMC are fueling some of today's most promising basic cancer research.

On April 2, I turned 50 years old. On April 17, I ran my first Boston Marathon in pursuit of the greatest gift of all -- a world without cancer. Running as part of the Dana-Farber Marathon Challenge (DFMC) team, I helped raise funds for Dana-Farber Cancer Institute -- where I've proudly worked since 1999. My 26.2-mile adventure honored the memory of Agi Alpert, Michael Carlin, and all the many other family members and friends lost to cancer or living with the disease. The race also fulfilled a lifelong dream for this kid who grew up on Heartbreak Hill -- and still lives on it today.

Even though the marathon is over, it's not too late to support my cause. Please consider making a gift -- any amount can make a big difference.

Thank you very much for your support!
